Since I first saw the Oceanreef IDM I wanted to try one. It looked like something out of Star Wars and as a child (and adult 🤣) I love Star Wars so I had to find out more and was sure It’d be out of this world. Well I wasn’t disappointed.I got myself qualified as soon as I could and when I became a dive instructor it was the first instructor specialty I did so that I could teach others the joys of diving in the IDM. Coupled with the underwater communication system it really is a great bit of dive kit. That was a few years ago now and I made it a mission to be able to offer a full package to everyone that dives in an Oceanreef mask so I trained to become a service technician on all Oceanreef products and set myself up offering servicing and arranging pleasure dive dates in the hopes of building a community of qualified Oceanreef IDM divers that can meet up and enjoy diving together.
